Refund Policy

1. Operating entity
Thriftr is operated by Blinc, a sole proprietorship registered in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. References to "Thriftr", "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to Blinc.
2. Return window
Buyers may request a return within 48 hours of delivery. Delivery time is the moment our shipping partner (Shiprocket) marks the parcel as delivered. Requests opened after this window are accepted only at the seller's discretion.
3. Eligible reasons
Returns are accepted in the following situations:
- Item does not match the listing description (incorrect size, colour, brand, or condition).
- Item arrived damaged or with undisclosed defects.
- Wrong item shipped.
- Item not delivered within 10 business days of order date.
Change-of-mind returns are at the seller's discretion. Some sellers accept them; many don't.
4. Refund amount
When a return is approved, the buyer is refunded the full item price + the buyer-side convenience fee. Shipping fee is refunded only when the return reason is seller-fault (wrong item, damaged, not as described). Buyer-fault returns (change of mind) do not refund the shipping fee.
The seller's share for that item is reversed from their wallet / escrow.
5. How refunds are paid
Refunds are processed via the same payment method used for the original purchase. We use CCAvenue as our payment gateway:
- Card / UPI / wallet refunds: 5–7 business days to reach the buyer's account.
- Net banking refunds: 5–10 business days depending on the bank.
- Wallet (Thriftr) payments: refunded instantly to the buyer's Thriftr wallet, withdrawable anytime.
6. Banned-seller refunds
If we ban a seller, any orders of theirs that haven't yet delivered are refunded automatically using the same formula above. Buyers receive a notification with the refund details.
7. Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled by the buyer at any time before the seller marks the order as shipped. Once shipped, a return request after delivery is the only path.
Sellers may cancel an order before shipping if the listed item is no longer available; the buyer is fully refunded in this case.
