Thriftr
Shipping Policy

1. Operating entity
Thriftr is operated by Blinc, a sole proprietorship registered in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
2. Shipping partner
All Thriftr orders ship through Shiprocket, which aggregates major Indian couriers (Delhivery, Bluedart, DTDC, and others). Shiprocket selects the courier per shipment based on the pickup and delivery pincodes, fastest available service, and the shipping rate the buyer paid.
3. Coverage
We ship to all serviceable pincodes within India. International shipping is not currently supported.
4. Processing & delivery time
- Sellers are required to hand the parcel to the courier within 3 business days of the order being placed.
- Delivery typically takes 3–7 business days after pickup, depending on the destination. Tier-1 cities are usually faster; remote pincodes can take longer.
- Tracking information is available in the buyer's order detail screen as soon as the AWB is generated.
5. Shipping fee (tiered by order value)
The buyer pays a tiered shipping fee at checkout:
- Orders under ₹1,500: ₹99
- Orders between ₹1,500 and ₹4,000: ₹149
- Orders above ₹4,000: ₹249 (includes shipping insurance for high-value items)
When a buyer's order contains items from multiple sellers, each seller's sub-order is shipped separately and the appropriate shipping fee is calculated per sub-order.
6. Failed delivery / RTO
If a parcel is undeliverable (incorrect address, recipient not available after multiple attempts, refused on delivery), it is returned to the seller. In this case:
- The item is refunded to the buyer if the issue was on the shipping side (e.g., courier failed to attempt delivery within policy).
- The shipping fee is not refunded if the buyer caused the failure (incorrect address, refused delivery).
- Sellers can re-list the returned item; buyers can place a fresh order if they still want it.
7. Damaged or lost in transit
If a parcel is lost or arrives damaged in transit, raise a return within 48 hours of delivery via the in-app return flow. Our trust & safety team coordinates with Shiprocket on the insurance claim; the buyer is fully refunded.
